2005-2006

This is the very first year we started our group. We did a lot of fun things this year. Here is a sampling of some of the things we did. We started off with a picnic at Connell Park.

We went to the RCMP station in Woodstock for a tour. We got to check out the jail, the building where they store their off road vehicles, the office, and the police car.

We went to the Woodstock Library where we had a Viking Day. Kate was dressed in a Viking dress and she had activities for the children to take part in. It was a lot of fun learning about Vikings!

One thing we decided to integrate into our year was a Geography Fair. Each child or family picked a country and prepared a project. This would give the children a chance to speak in front of a crowd. Here are a few pictures of the projects the children did.

This was a great year....and a great start to our group!
